Watford have confirmed the signing of West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster on a two-year deal, with an option for a further 12 months.

For a believed fee of around £3.5million, Foster departs West Brom after seven years, six of which were as a permanent Baggies player.

The England international ‘keeper joined Albion in 2012 from Birmingham City, having spent the previous season on loan at the Hawthorns.

Foster made a total of 223 appearances in all competitions, winning the Supporters’ Player of the Year Award three times and the Players’ Player of the Year Award on two separate occasions.
