Foster set for Watford medical as exit nears
Ben Foster is expected to have his move to Watford confirmed imminently, with a medical at Vicarage Road taking place today.
The 35-year-old has been at the Hawthorns since 2011, making 209 appearances for the Baggies since joining from rivals Birmingham City.
A strong career in the Midlands saw Foster nominated for the Football Writers’ Association of the Year Award in the 2016-17 season, in addition to scooping the West Brom supporters’ player of the season award.

Despite vowing to stay at the club following relegation to the Championship, the team made their intentions to introduce a younger shot-stopper clear. Having confirmed the signing of Sam Johnstone from Manchester United, West Brom will now almost imminently say goodbye to Foster.
With a rumoured fee of £3.5 million for the former England international, the fee will go some way to covering the supposed £6.5 million the club stumped up for the services of Johnstone.
