West Brom are actively negotiating a deal to sign Kyle Bartley from Swansea City, according to claims from the Telegraph’s John Percy.

Bartley was a part of the Swans’ squad that succumbed to relegation from the Premier League last season and it seems the Baggies want to recruit him in a deal worth £3.5 million.
West Brom, like Swansea, are keen to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking next season and with Jonny Evans already gone and Craig Dawson pushing for an exit, defensive reinforcements will be required.
Percy states that the Baggies are hopeful of seeing a deal for Bartley go through by the weekend, with Darren Moore keen to accelerate his side’s summer dealings.
Bartley, 27, made just two league starts for Swansea last season and a move to the Hawthorns could be of interest as he goes in search of regular first-team football for next season.
