West Brom have been handed a boost in their apparent pursuit of Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons, according to reports.
The Baggies are believed to have identified Aarons as a player who they would be keen to recruit ahead of next season and, if the Mirror are to be believed, Newcastle are prepared to listen to offers for their promising winger.
Aarons was largely frozen out by Rafa Benitez at St James’ Park last season and this saw him secure a January loan move away from the club. The 22-year-old arrived at Serie A club Hellas Verona for the second-half of the season and it seems he could be set for a summer move.
West Brom are looking to add extra quality to their attacking options and it’s claimed by the Mirror that although they have a number of targets in mind, Aarons is a man who is under consideration.
The winger, who struggled has struggled with injuries in recent times, has three years remaining on his deal at Newcastle still.
