Darren Moore knows that his West Brom side could move level on points with fellow high-flyers Bristol City with a win at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night.
The Baggies come into the midweek clash off the back of a 1-1 draw away at Birmingham on Friday night.
We’re predicting some changes ahead of the game as Moore looks to maintain the early season momentum.
Here is how we think the Baggies will line up on Tuesday night.
GK - Sam Johnstone
Keeps his place as Albion’s number one.
CB - Craig Dawson
Seems to have nailed down a place in the squad after concerns over his future throughout the summer.
CB - Ahmed Hegazi
A regular in the middle of West Brom’s back three.
CB - Kyle Bartley
Bartley struggled to deal with Jota but he’ll be aiming for a quieter evening’s work.
RM - Matt Phillips
Another well-taken goal to add to his collection. Full of confidence.
CM - Gareth Barry
The experienced Barry comes into the team to replace Chris Brunt, who struggled away from home on Friday night.
Got overran in midfield too easily and Moore will be hoping Barry provides more defensive steal.
CM - Jake Livermore
Another who struggled on Friday. Moore will be hoping that Livermore is back to his best on Tuesday.
LM - Kieran Gibbs
Comes in for Towsend, who was impressive on Friday night.
CAM - Harvey Barnes
Barnes was far from his best against Birmingham. Improvement needed against Bristol City.
ST - Jay Rodriguez
Keeps his place up front as one of the first names on Moore’s teamsheet.
ST - Dwight Gayle
Fired blank against Birmingham, but he’ll be out to find the back of the net on Tuesday.
