Barnes to return to Leicester during January transfer window
Leicester City are set to recall Harvey Barnes during the January window, delivering a huge blow to West Brom’s promotion hopes.
The Belfast Telegraph reports that the Foxes will take up their option of bringing the player back to the King Power after an impressive start to the season.
Barnes has played a key role in West Brom’s side that currently sit second in the Championship, just one point off the top.
The England youth international has been given something of a free role under Darren Moore, playing behind the two strikers.
Leicester clearly feel they have seen enough from the player to suggest that he could feature in their squad over the second half of the season.
Summer signing James Maddison has been impressing for the Foxes in the Premier League, with may suggest regular game time could be hard to come by, but the Foxes clearly want to keep his development a little closer to home.
