West Brom handed double fitness boost ahead of Ipswich game
Darren Moore has confirmed that West Brom will be given a double fitness boost ahead of Friday night’s game with Ipswich.
Speaking ahead of the clash against Paul Lambert’s side, as reported by Birmingham Live, Moore revealed that both Gareth Barry and Chris Brunt are going to be fit enough to be named in the squad.
The pair were heading into the game as injury concerns, but have both beaten off their respective problems to hand a huge boost to Moore.
Unfortunately for the Baggies, Kyle Bartley is a doubt with the West Brom boss remaining coy on his availability for the game.
Gareth Barry is back in, Chris Brunt is back in. Kyle Bartley is probably the one that we’re still waiting on.
He had fluid on his knee. That’s now gone, but with the games coming thick and fast, I’ll leave it if he’s a doubt. He’s making some good progress.
We want to give him more time to make sure when he comes back he stays back. All the rest should be fine.
A win for the club on Friday night would go some way to closing the gap between themselves and those at the top of the table.
Moore’s men currently trail Middlesbrough in second place by three points and are five behind league leaders Norwich City.
