West Bromwich Albion will listen to offers in January for young forward Oliver Burke in a bid to get the Scotsman more minutes, according to reports cited on the Lancashire Evening Post,

Darren Morre would ideally want the former RB Leipzig man to be on hand to aid the Baggies’ promotion push.

Yet the £15 million signing has scarcely featured for Moore this season with the door open for the youngster to go out on loan in order to get valuable minutes under his belt.

Regarding a possible move on a temporary basis for the youngster Moore said:

I’m looking at both aspects, I want him to be ready for us of course, but we’ll have a look at it. It’s important that Oli gets more than bit-parts in games, he needs to get match fit.

We’ve utilised the under-23s to give him that strength, robustness and fitness to maintain over 90 minutes. By playing in those you get tougher, and he’s getting there at the moment. He’s scoring goals and we’re keeping a close eye on him.

Burke certainly has done well with the U23’s, scoring four goals in seven games but he has not yet scored for the first team.

Sheffield United have been touted as a potential destination, while Premier League duo Newcastle and Tottenham have previously been linked with moves.
