Sako back in training and could feature against Villa
West Brom winger Bakary Sako is in contention for the meeting with Aston Villa after making a return to training.
Birmingham Live have reported that the player is fit again after suffering an injury setback.
Sako has missed West Brom’s three previous meetings but is now back available for selection, with Darren Moore handed a late fitness boost.
Speaking to the media, Moore confirmed the player’s situation.
He’s back in full contact training now. We’re pleased to have him back. He’s only been back in full contact for two or three days. When they’ve been out you want to give them that volume in training, but he is back in full contact now.
The former Crystal Palace and Wolves man has only featured twice since arriving at the club as a free agent, but he’ll be hoping to kick on and prove his worth to the Baggies.
The two sides meet on Friday night in a game that could see Moore’s side close the gap between themselves and Leeds, who currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot.
