West Brom are eyeing a move for Wolves defender Kortney Hause, according to The Daily Mail, via HITC.
The move could anger rivals Aston Villa, who saw a £2m bid rejected by the high-flying Premier League side.
The Baggies now have a chance to step in and could be willing to meet Wolves’ valuation of the centre-back.
Darren Moore’s side have already snatched Sam Johnstone from under Aston Villa’s noses this season and could be set to frustrate them even more, with Villa in desperate need of defensive reinforcements.
Hause has proven himself in the Championship, after heavily featuring for Wolves during their time in the second tier, however injuries have hampered his progress.
The 23-year-old is keen to get more game time, so a move away from Molineux could be tempting. He wouldn’t have to move far though, as Villa and West From prepare to go head to head for Hause’s signature.
