West Brom are reportedly looking to seal a deal to sign Greek midfielder Petros Mantalos this month.
According to reports in Greece, as cited on Sport Witness, the Baggies are in the hunt to sign the player during the January window after missing out on his signature over the summer.
West Brom were keen to bring the player in during the summer window but were ultimately unsuccessful in their pursuit.
The report claims that the player could be tempted by a move away after the club were knocked out of Europe and an immediate return to the Premier League for West Brom looking increasingly likely.
With the player under contract in Greece until 2023, he would not arrive on the cheap.
Darren Moore is eager to strengthen in January as he sets his sights on promotion this season.
The Baggies are fourth in the Championship, three points behind Norwich, who take up the second automatic spot.
