Aston Villa have made a move to sign West Brom transfer target Tyrone Mings from Bournemouth.
According to The Mirror, West Brom are interested in signing Mings on loan before the end of the transfer window.
However, Football Insider claim that Aston Villa have already approached Bournemouth as they look to bring Mings in on loan until the end of the campaign.
The Mirror report claims that Mings is ready to leave Bournemouth on loan as he goes in search of regular football.
Mings has only made 20 league appearances for Bournemouth since he joined the club from Ipswich – almost four years ago.
West Brom have already made one signing this month, bringing in defender Mason Holgate on loan from Premier League side Everton. Holgate has played in every Championship match for the club since his arrival – picking up an assist in the 1-1 draw with Norwich at The Hawthorns.
