Everton are interested in signing Salomon Rondon this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The Venezuela striker, currently on loan with Newcastle, is believed to be keen on leaving the Hawthorns this season if West Brom miss out on promotion to the Premier League.
The 29-year old has previously admitted he would like to stay at St James’ Park beyond the end of the season, but with Newcastle’s financial situation and Rafa Benitez’ future uncertain, Everton could look to make a move.
The Toffees have struggled with inconsistencies up front this season, with Cenk Tosun, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison having all had stints as the club’s sole forward.
Marco Silva could look to move for the forward, with Mike Ashley also uncertain about spending £16million on a player who is close to his thirties.
