West Brom star Dwight Gayle has been in a great run of form of late and has hinted about what his future may hold.
Gayle, 28, has scored 21 goals this season, helping his side push for a play-off space. They are currently fourth and sitting on 73 points and will be determined to return to the Premier League this term.
The Baggies striker has scored five goals in his last six matches, including a hat-trick against Preston North End at the weekend.
Gayle joined West Brom in the summer for the season from Premier League side Newcastle United. However, he now has a choice to make at the end of the ongoing campaign, with his future currently under scrutiny.
According to Birmingham Live, Gayle stated:
Yes, of course, I’ve really enjoyed the season and the fans have taken to me and shown great support.
In the summer, I’m going to see what happens and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
Gayle was involved in a swap deal, as West Brom saw Salomon Rondon join the Magpies in exchange for the free-scoring loan star.
