West Brom are set to hold talks with ex-Brighton boss Chris Hughton next week, according to the Telegraph.
In a report from the reliable John Percy, it is claimed that Hughton has emerged as a potential candidate to become Darren Moore’s permanent replacement.
Hughton was only sacked by Brighton earlier this week, but he is already being linked with an early return to management.
Patrick Vieira and Slavisa Jokanovic have also emerged as potential alternatives, with West Brom preparing for a big summer of change at the Hawthorns.
The latter was interviewed for the job in March but a deal never materialised.
The Baggies missed out on a spot at Wembley on Tuesday night, losing to rivals Aston Villa on penalties in the semi-finals of the Championship play-offs.
Jimmy Shan has impressed during his time at the club but looks unlikely to be given the job on a permanent basis.
