Danny Cowley under consideration for Albion job
West Brom are reportedly eyeing up a move for Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley to be their next boss, according to reports from BBC Sport.
Cowley, who led the Imps to the League Two title this season, has taken Lincoln from the Conference to League One, and also took his side on an incredible cup in 2016 in the FA Cup.
After Albion’s elimination in the playoffs, Jimmy Shan has been told he still has a future at the club, but he won’t be given the job on a permanent basis.
Names linked with the role include Chris Hughton and Cowley, who could be tempted to move to Albion.
Whoever takes the role has a tough job on their hands, with Albion’s squad not getting any younger, and Dwight Gayle returning to Newcastle United.
Cowley has a pedigree of getting his sides promoted, but is yet to be known whether he could do it in the Championship.
