Rekeem Harper eyed by Celtic and Spurs
Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Baggies youngster Rekeem Harper this summer in an attempt to overhaul their squad.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a promising season with West Brom despite failing to earn a place in the Championship play-off final.
Coming through the youth academy, the box-to-box midfielder has impressed a number of clubs after scoring one goal and registering one assist in his 16 league appearances.
According to the Daily Record, Celtic are one of those clubs that are keen on bringing the player into their squad. He even spent the day in Scotland to watch the Hoops against Hearts this past weekend.
Harper is out of contract in the summer, and it is Celtic’s interim manager Neil Lennon looking to take advantage of that with the Hoops due for a rebuild in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Record’s report states that Lennon was in attendance of West Brom’s semi-final clash against Aston Villa to monitor the youngster.
They also add that Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City have also been keeping tabs on the player as they look to improve their squads in preparation for the 2019/20 campaign.
