West Brom are showing a keen interest in FC Metz midfielder Vincent Thill according to French outlet Soccer Link.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Pau FC in the third tier of French football.
The youngster enjoyed a productive season in France, scoring ten goals and assisting three.
Thill has also represented his country, Luxembourg, where he has featured in the Euro qualifiers as well as the World Cup qualifiers in 2016/17.
However, according to the report, Norwich City, newly promoted to the Premier League, are also interested in the attacking midfielder, with the Canaries keen to add to their attack to give them every chance of staying up.
Albion have lacked creativity in the final third since Harvey Barnes returned to the King Power Stadium following a successful loan spell with the Baggies last season.
With Dwight Gayle returning to Newcastle United and Jay Rodriguez’s future in doubt, Thill could prove to be that bit of quality that Albion need in an attacking sense next season.
Four more players West Brom could target
Following Cardiff’s relegation from the Premier League, the Baggies could try to sign the 26-year-old.
Reid had a very successful spell in the Championship with Bristol City, scoring 19 goals and providing 7 assists.
Following Charlton’s promotion to the Championship the midfielder has had interest from Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers.
The midfielder scored 10 goals this season and would provide creativity for West Brom’s midfield.
Failing to earn promotion to the Championship with Portsmouth could make the 24-year-old a real option.
Lowe scored 15 goals for Pompey last season and if the Baggies do show interest in the attacker they would be getting a speedy tricky player.
The Brentford winger has had interest from Premier League side Crystal Palace.
Watkins scored 10 goals for Brentford this season and would no doubt provide a healthy option for West Brom.
