West Brom are eyeing up a deal to sign West Ham defender Reece Oxford this summer.
According to The Telegraph, West Brom are ready to make a move for Oxford, who is available for £2m.
The report claims that West Ham want to sell Oxford in the coming months and have already accepted an offer from German club Augsburg.
However, the move is said to be falling apart due to Augsburg not being willing to insert a clause allowing him to leave if they are relegated to the 2. Bundesliga.
This has alerted Middlesbrough and West Brom, who are now looking to swoop in and hijack a deal for the young defender.
The report claims that Slaven Bilic is set to take over at West Brom and the Croatian boss gave Oxford his debut whilst in charge of West Ham. This means that he could be able to persuade Oxford to move to the Hawthorns.
Players Bilic has worked with who he could bring to West Brom
West Brom need a right-back and Bilic could look to make a move for the Arsenal defender to bolster his squad.
Carroll is out of contract this summer and will be leaving West Ham on a free transfer. West Brom could look to snap him up.
If West Brom lose any of their centre-backs this summer, they could make a move for Reid at West Ham – who has struggled with injuries in recent seasons.
If Sam Johnstone leaves this summer, West Brom could make a move for Adrian. The Spaniard is a free agent after leaving West Ham.
