West Brom forward Salomon Rondon is a target for Roma, according to reports, with the Venezuelan seen as a replacement for Edin Dzeko.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international is closing in on completing a move to Inter Milan, and Roma are looking at the 29-year old Baggies striker to replace him after other targets have proved problematic.
Andrea Belotti and Gonzalo Higuain have previously been linked with transfers to the Giallorossi, but Calciomercato are reporting that with those moves having not developed, Rondon is the Serie A club’s new target.
Having spent last season on loan with Newcastle in the Premier League, Rondon is unlikely to be happy returning to Albion, with the Midlands club failing to win promotion to Premier League.
Rondon would join Paulo Fonseca’s side to support and relieve some of the pressure from Patrick Shick’s shoulders.
