West Brom eyeing ambitious swoop for Kagawa
West Brom are reportedly eyeing up an ambitious swoop for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa this summer.
According to Turkish outlet Sabah, via Sport Witness, Besiktas and West Brom are both showing an interest in Kagawa.
The report claims that Besiktas, West Brom and a number of unnamed Spanish clubs are keen on a deal for Kagawa ahead of next season.
Kagawa spent the second half of last season on loan to Besiktas in Turkey, where he scored four goals in 14 appearances for the club, and now they are looking to sign him on a permanent deal.
West Brom are said to be providing competition for his signature, with Slaven Bilic attempting to improve his squad after arriving at the Championship club earlier this month.
The report does, however, claim that Kagawa is not sold on a move to the Championship and would prefer to return to Besiktas instead.
