West Brom target Lowe yet to hand in transfer request
West Brom have reportedly been interested in Jamal Lowe all summer as well as fellow Championship clubs Leeds and Millwall.
It had been recently reported that the Pompey winger handed in a transfer request following Portsmouth’s failure to gain promotion to the Championship and has since been subject to a lot of interest from Championship sides.
However, despite interest and the winger reportedly being unsettled at the club, according to The Portsmouth News, cited by The 72, Lowe has not handed in a transfer request.
Lowe has been linked with the Baggies for some weeks now and are keen to add some creativity and attacking threat to the side. If the Albion are to sign the winger then they will have to pay around £2.5 million to get his services.
Lowe is a very creative player and has been vital in Pompey’s high finish this season scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists to his side. With failure in gaining promotion to the Championship, Lowe could yet leave Portsmouth this summer.
