West Brom’s Morgan Rogers set to join Man City
Manchester City look set to complete the signing of West Brom teenager Morgan Rogers, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The 16-year-old is highly thought of at West Brom but the Baggies look set to lose him to the reigning Premier League champions.
The England U17 international made his first team for Albion earlier this year in the FA Cup tie with Brighton and big things are expected from him.
However, it looks like, if he does achieve those big things, he’ll do so at The Etihad and not at The Hawthorns.
Rogers, who has been at West Brom since he was eight-years-old, will become the second young player poached by a Champions League club in recent weeks after the club lost striker Louie Barry to Barcelona.
Like Barca did for Rodgers, City will likely only have to pay a small compensatory fee if and when they do sign Morgan.
