Wigan reportedly agree fee for Albion target Hugill
Wigan have had a bid of over £3.8 million accepted as they look to sign West Brom target Jordan Hugill, according to Football Insider.
The striker, who has been linked with a move to West Brom and Preston North End, will now try and agree personal terms with the Latics as he looks to move away from West Ham.
Hugill joined the Hammers in an £8 million move back in January 2018, but has failed to make any impact in East London.
The forward made a loan move to Middlesbrough last season, scoring six goals and assisting twice for Tony Pulis’ side.
Preston had been thought to close to a deal for Hugill, but Wigan looked to have hijacked the move at the last minute.
West Brom are looking for a new striker this Summer, after Dwight Gayle returned to Newcastle, and with Solomon Rondon close to a move to China.
Hugill could be a good option, but the Baggies would have to move fast to try and get a deal done.
