West Brom have officially confirmed the signing of midfielder Semi Ajayi from League One side Rotherham.
Twitter: @SemiAjayi Versatile defender @SemiAjayi has joined us on a four-year contract from @OfficialRUFC.
The club have revealed that Ajayi has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at West Brom, becoming the third arrival of the summer.
Filip Krovinovic has joined on loan from Portuguese giants Benfica, whilst Kenneth Zohore completed his permanent move from Cardiff earlier this week.
Ajayi caught the eye for Rotherham in the Championship last season, despite their relegation back down to League One.
He started his career, and last season, as a central defender, but impressed after moving into a holding midfield role under Paul Warne at Rotherham.
The Nigerian international scored seven goals for Rotherham in the Championship last season and will now be looking to progress further under Slaven Bilic at The Hawthorns next season.
West Brom finished 4th in the Championship last term and will be hoping to push on and achieve promotion back to the Premier League with Bilic.
Players West Brom could sign
West Brom could yet bring Dwight Gayle back for another season from Newcastle.
West Brom need a right-back and Simpson is available on a free transfer after leaving Leicester.
The Arsenal midfielder would be an excellent signing on loan for the Baggies.
If Reid is out of favour at West Ham, Bilic could look to be reunited with the strong central defender.
