West Brom are thought to be closing in on a move for Queens Park Rangers right-back Darnell Furlong, according to the Daily Mail.
The report suggests that the Baggies are close to sealing a £1.5 million move for the 23-year-old, and are hoping to complete a deal in the next 24 hours.
West Brom boss Slaven Bilic is desperate to add to his right-back options ahead of the new season, especially with current senior right-back Allan Nyom expected to move to La Liga side Getafe.
Free-agent Ivan Balliu is thought to be on the Baggies radar, however, it looks likely that Furlong will move to the Midlands despite QPR rejecting an initial offer from West Brom.
Furlong is highly thought of at Loftus Road and made 29 appearances for the club last season.
The youngster has plenty of senior experience after loan spells with Northampton Town, Cambridge United and Swindon Town in recent years and could become the club’s fourth signing, following Filip Krovinovic, Kenneth Zohore and Semi Ajayi through the door at The Hawthorns.
