After suffering there first defeat of the season, West Brom look to get back to winning ways as they take on fellow promotion chasing team Cardiff City.
After unluckily losing 1-0 to Leeds United on Tuesday night, the Baggies will be hoping that that is a minor blip and considering that this is the final game before the international break, it will be important to achieve three points to boost the confidence in the squad.
Currently occupying third in the table, Albion do have an opportunity to potentially return to the top, after falling off the summit in the midweek loss but they will have to get past a stern Cardiff City team, who will be looking to return to the Premier League at the first attempt after relegation last year.
Cardiff midweek defeated QPR 3-0 and will come into this game on a major high. Albion will have to be wary of this and should try to use the home advantage to get them over the line in this important game.
But will see changes from Slaven Bilic on Saturday afternoon?
Here’s how we think the Baggies will line up:
GK: Sam Johnstone
Sensational against Leeds midweek particularly with the double save. Should start again.
RB: Darnell Furlong
I’ve been very impressed with Furlong since he has arrived and I would like to see him retain his place.
CB: Semi Ajayi
Brilliant as ever midweek and should start again.
CB: Kyle Bartley
With Hegazi not being used until after the international break, Bartley should be in the defence again.
LB: Nathan Ferguson
Despite Kieran Gibbs being available against Cardiff, I would keep Ferguson in who has been a revelation so far.
CM: Jake Livermore (C)
The club captain should be in line for another start for the Baggies.
CM: Romaine Sawyers
Been solid so far since returning to the club and should start again.
CAM: Matheus Pereira
Tremendous talent and yet again produced a Man of the Match performance midweek. I would like to see him start again.
RW: Matt Phillips
Played very well against Leeds I thought before being withdrawn to save him for tomorrow’s game. Should be in line to start again.
LW: Grady Diangana
Impressive start to the season for the West Ham United loanee and should be in contention for another start.
ST: Charlie Austin
Wasn’t used midweek as Robson-Kanu and Zohore got the nod over him, ultimately meaning that he should be in line to start against the Bluebirds.
