League football returns for West Brom as they travel north to the Riverside Stadium to take on struggling Middlesborough.
Albion head into this game on a high as they returned to the top of the league two weeks ago with a 4-2 win over Cardiff City.
However, their opponents Middlesborough are in a concerning position as they sit 20th in the league table under new manager Jonathan Woodgate.
In their last game they fell short in a 2-1 defeat to Birmingham City.
The Baggies head into this game as strong favourites but Slaven Bilic and his side must watch out as Boro did the double over Albion last season, which is something they will look to avoid this time around.
The Baggies have been boosted by great fitness news, as Ahmed Hegazi is match fit with Grady Diangana also overcoming his achilles problem. However they will be without Kieran Gibbs who has a broken toe and Kenneth Zohore will not feature due to a calf issue.
Here’s how we think the Baggies will line-up:
gk: Sam Johnstone
Number one choice in goal and should start again.
rb: Darnell Furlong
With Gibbs out Furlong is expected to occupy the right back spot once again.
cb: Semi Ajayi
Should start again after impressing on international duty against Brazil.
cb: Kyle Bartley
Hegazi will be fit but I’d go with Bartley for this game. Solid a fortnight ago and Tuesday night might be a better game to start the Egyptian.
lb: Nathan Ferguson
Again, whilst Kieran Gibbs isn’t available, Ferguson should start at left back, excelling in this position.
cm: Jake Livermore (C)
The captain should start again after an impressive performance 2 weeks ago.
cm: Romaine Sawyers
Likewise Sawyers was immense against Cardiff and should get the chance to carry his form on.
cam: Matheus Pereira
The core to Albion’s impressive goal scoring midfield and he should start again.
rw: Matt Phillips
Had an injection for an ankle problem after the Cardiff game but should be fit to start.
lw: Grady Diangana
Fully fit after coming off a fortnight ago for an achilles problem. Should start.
st: Charlie Austin
Grabbed his first league goal against Cardiff and will be looking to push on and grab more in this game.
