West Bromwich Albion return to league action when they take on Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
The Baggies, who are fresh from their impressive win over West Ham in the FA Cup, will be looking to bring to an end their winless run of six games in the Championship.
Cardiff, who are currently managed by Neil Harris, sit 13th in the Championship and are six points away from the reaching the playoff places, so the Bluebirds will be looking to pull off a scalp against the current league leaders to push towards that target.
Slaven Bilic is expected to make changes from the cup game against his former side and will more than likely name a more experienced line up to try and maintain top spot.
For team news, Semi Ajayi will serve a one-match suspension from his sending off at West Ham, while Matheus Pereira is serving the second of his three-match suspension for an elbow on Joe Allen in the 1-0 defeat to Stoke City.
Grady Diangana will also continue his recovery from a hamstring problem, Nathan Ferguson could return from his reoccurring knee injury, while Kieran Gibbs will most likely miss this game too with his troubling hamstring injury.
Here’s how we think the Baggies will line up on Tuesday night…
GK: Sam Johnstone
The number one keeper was rested for the cup win on Saturday but should be reinstated for league action.
RB: Darnell Furlong
Another man that was rested for the win at West Ham. Will be needed up the right flank for his energy to test the Cardiff defence.
CB: Dara O'Shea
The youngster was so impressive at the London Stadium on Saturday. With Ajayi out, O’Shea deserves to start again given how much football Ahmed Hegazi has had to play recently.
CB: Kyle Bartley
Bartley came on for the final 20 minutes on Saturday to see out the win after Ajayi was sent off. We think he’s set to be brought back into the starting line up for the league clash having been a regular starter so far this season.
LB: Conor Townsend
Townsend scored a belter of a goal to send Albion through to the fifth round of the FA Cup against West Ham. With Gibbs still out, Townsend is expected to retain his place.
CM: Jake Livermore (C)
Livermore was an unused substitute on Saturday afternoon. The club captain has started every league game he has been involved in this season and he is likely to continue that trend.
CM: Romaine Sawyers
The local lad was rested after a hectic festive period and it was much needed for him as he is an important part of the squad. Will hopefully come back refreshed and show the quality he has that has helped Albion to the top of the table.
CAM: Filip Krovinovic
The Croat was fantastic at West Ham in the cup win. With Pereira’s suspension, Krovinovic is surely going to take up the number 10 spot and try to put in a similar performance to help the Baggies get three points.
RW: Matt Phillips
Phillips was less than impressive in the cup win on Saturday and will be looking to put things right. Hopefully a start will get him back in form and push Albion’s promotion bid in the right direction.
LW: Kyle Edwards
Edwards was a constant threat down the left side at the London Stadium and will be looking to do that yet again. With Diangana’s injury, he is surely set to start on the left flank once more.
ST: Hal Robson-Kanu
Robson-Kanu was the only senior forward rested for this game which will likely mean that he will be the lone man up front in the Welsh capital.
