Agbonlahor publicly slates Robinson for Baggies move
Callum Robinson took to social media to react to his West Brom debut at the weekend following the Baggies’ 2-0 win over Luton Town.
It’s how former Aston Villa team-mate Gabby Agbonlahor reacted to his move that’s caugh the attention of many, though.
The 25-year-old forward posted a picture on Instagram after helping West Brom return to the top of the Championship in his first appearances at the Hawthorns, only for Agbonlahor to issue a sinister reply:
This has cost you a long friendship playing for these.
Agbonlahor, who spent 13 seasons playing at Villa Park, was at the club when Robinson made four Premier League appearances in the 2013-14 season.

I don’t think the 33-year-old’s comment should be taken too seriously, but Robinson’s move to the Baggies was always going to ruffle a few feathers in that neck of the woods.
Moving away from off-the-pitch ordeals though, the Republic of Ireland international could provide the firepower Slaven Bilic’s side need to push for a Premier League return.
Robinson scored 30 Championship goals in his final three seasons at Preston North End, 12 of which came last term.
Despite their favourable league position, West Brom need more goals, with Charlie Austin, Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu the only three players to score more than five goals this season.
The abuse Robinson will be receiving from rival fans and even fellow professionals will probably be spurring him on to provide the goods for Bilic.
