Many West Bromwich Albion fans have been having their say after the club announced the arrival of former Saudi Arabia captain Osama Hawsawi.

The club took to Twitter on Tuesday to welcome Hawsawi, who will be undergoing his own research at the Hawthorns for the next month.

With 135 international caps to his name, the 35-year-old retired in December 2018 and is largely respected in his home nation.

Hawsawi represented a number of Saudi Arabian clubs including Al-Wahda, Al Ahli, and Al Hilal, winning five Pro Leagues, four Crown Prince Cups and two Saudi Cups.

He only had one spell in Europe during his career, making just two appearances but winning the Belgian title with Anderlecht in the 2012-13 season.

Lots of fans had plenty to say regarding Hawsawi’s arrival, which will hopefully make him feel right at home in the Midlands.

Others had some different questions, rather than statements welcoming Hawsawi to the club…

Where will West Brom be when Hawsawi's research is over in a month?
