West Brom face a huge test as they take on fellow promotion contenders Nottingham Forest on Saturday lunchtime at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies are currently on a three-match winning streak which has seen them recreate a gap at the top of the league which currently stands at six points after a narrow 2-1 win over Reading.
With the gap at the moment, a win for Albion would be an incredible boost towards automatic promotion and will increase the confidence even more in the squad heading into the final stages of the season.
For Nottingham Forest, a crack at the playoffs is looking likely, but they will still be hunting for a top-two spot. They showed their quality by beating Leeds last weekend but lost that momentum with a 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic at the City Ground on Tuesday night.
For the Baggies team news, Kieran Gibbs could return after stepping up his recovery from a hamstring injury, however, Grady Diangana will be out for another few weeks with the same problem.
Nathan Ferguson remains out with a knee problem.
Here’s how we think WBA will line up on Saturday:
GK: Sam Johnstone
The Albion number one didn’t have the greatest game despite not having a shot to save against Reading. Should keep his place though having started every league game so far this season.
RB: Dara O'Shea
O’Shea put in another terrific display to help Albion on their way to a massive three points. Should start again after recently becoming first-choice full-back.
CB: Semi Ajayi
Ajayi is at the core of Albion’s stability at the back and has been fantastic this season. Should retain his place after impressing midweek.
CB: Kyle Bartley
Bartley popped up with the winning goal at Reading despite giving an early penalty away. Formed a great partnership with Ajayi and is set to continue that.
LB: Conor Townsend
Townsend was yet again so impressive midweek and is settling into the side really well with a good run of games. With Gibbs still a bit shaky over his fitness, Townsend should be at left-back once again.
CM: Jake Livermore (C)
The captain was outstanding in midfield in the midweek game and provided the physicality needed in a tough battle at Reading. Should lead the side out again and continue his great form.
CM: Romaine Sawyers
Sawyers impressed in the second half at Reading once the game opened up but he needs to up the tempo in his play for the full 90 minutes like his other teammates have done recently. The local lad should start again though after forming a great midfield partnership with Livermore this season.
CAM: Filip Krovinovic
Krovinovic over these last few games has been a totally different player. So active on the ball and was linking up really nicely with the other forwards midweek. Doesn’t deserve to be dropped and should be in again at the number ten role.
RW: Matheus Pereira
Pereira’s return has been brilliant to see. Has shown the quality he has and is really thriving with the added attackers to the squad. Simply needs to start to give Albion the best chance of winning on Saturday.
LW: Callum Robinson
Robinson has been replacing the injured Diangana so well since his arrival. Adds pace to the left-hand side and more importantly a good final ball. Deserves to start again after impressing against The Royals.
ST: Hal Robson-Kanu
Robson-Kanu worked his socks off in the forward role on his own and was a nice outlet to push the team up the pitch. With Kanu performing better then Albion’s other striking options so far this season, he is likely to start once more.
