Lots of West Bromwich Albion fans have been pouring praise on Sam Johnstone following his performance in the 3-0 win against Bristol City on Saturday.

Hal Robson-Kanu ended his rut in front of goal with a well-taken brace at Ashton Gate after Callum Robinson scored his second goal in as many games.

The impressive triumph stretched West Brom’s unbeaten run to five games and maintained their four-point lead over Leeds United at the Championship summit.

Although he only had one shot on target to face, Johnstone’s role in the win received recognition from the club’s official Twitter after full-time.

The 26-year-old took 25 touches on the day and made one save, one high claim and one clearance as he kept his eighth league clean sheet of the season.

He has been faced with some criticism this season, but these supporters have taken the time to praise the stopper for his performance against Lee Johnson’s side.

Is Johnstone one of the Championship's top three 'keepers?

Yes, for sure!
