Many West Bromwich Albion fans are not happy after the EFL left captain Jake Livermore out of their official Team of the Weekend.

Livermore produced an admirable display in midfield as the Baggies thumped fellow promotion hopefuls Bristol City 3-0 at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

The 30-year-old led by example as he took 68 touches, won 12 ground duels, made 11 tackles and created two big chances during the big triumph.

There was no room for him in the EFL’s best XI from the weekend’s fixtures though, which was always going to cause quite the stir…

Livermore’s team-mate, Hal Robson-Kanu did receive a special mention though, after netting a brace following Callum Robinson’s opener.

His impressive contribution made him joint-top scorer at the club this season, alongside Charlie Austin on nine goals.

Although it was probably nice to see at least one West Brom man gain recognition from the major result, these supporters couldn’t ignore the glaring omission…

Where does Livermore come in terms of West Brom's best players this season?
