Plenty of West Brom fans react as Romelu Lukaku responds to Albion tweet
Romelu Lukaku insists that he will never forget his time at West Brom.
Even though he is only 26-years-old, the striker has already enjoyed a superb career, featuring for the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and current club Inter Milan, as well as starring for Belgium.
However, that may not have been possible if Lukaku hadn’t shone during his season-long loan with Albion back in 2012.
Just a teenager at the time, the target man weighed in with a mightily impressive 17 league goals as the Baggies finished eighth in the Premier League.
Therefore, he is always fondly remembered at The Hawthorns and Albion’s Twitter account decided to look back at his best moments yesterday by showing all of his goals for the club.
That prompted a response from Lukaku today, with the striker thanking the club for all they did to help his development.
Twitter: Always grateful for the opportunity 🙏🏿. Thank you https://t.co/JjlZEPYQhn (@RomeluLukaku9)
