‘Hero’, ‘Legend’ – These West Brom fans look back at impact of club icon
With no football to talk about right now, clubs are doing different things to give fans their fix.
And, one feature West Brom have adopted is ‘Legends Day’, which will see the club dedicate one day to a former player who has made a huge impact at The Hawthorns, with Bob Taylor chosen today.
The striker is a firm favourite on the terraces after scoring 131 goals over two periods for the Baggies, which helped the team to two promotions.
As well as being a natural finisher, the striker’s determination and will to win meant that he was always appreciated by the fans.

Albion shared a clip of some of those goals on Twitter and it’s fair to say it prompted a great reaction from the support as they reflected on the contribution that Taylor made during his nine years in the West Midlands.
