West Brom could look to sign Watford striker Andre Gray before the end of the transfer window, as reported by The Athletic.
Slaven Bilic is in the market for more attacking reinforcements for his squad as the Baggies have begun their Premier League return with back to back defeats.
Having previously been linked with Huddersfield Town marksman Karlan Grant, the men from the Hawthorns have been put off by the asking price for the 19 Championship goal man, and could now turn their attentions to a more experienced operator.
At 29-years-old, Gray has bundles of top-flight experience under his belt, with over 100 matches across his stints with Watford and Burnley.
The striker’s best goal return came in 2016/17 where he scored nine times in 32 appearances for Burnley.

As Bilic goes in search of a proven goalscorer, Gray could well fit the bill, especially if other targets fail to materialise.
Gray is yet to appear this term in the Championship for Watford, and would almost certainly welcome a return to the elite with the Baggies.
Born in Wolverhampton and having played for Wolves and Shrewsbury Town at youth level, it would be familiar territory for the striker who could be the answer to Bilic’s woes.
