West Brom face competition to land Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham from Premier League rivals Southampton, according to Football Insider.
The Baggies have been interested in the 24-year-old all summer, however, they have been joined the Saints and French sides Marseille and Lyon in the pursuit for the midfielder.
All four interested parties are believed to have made enquiries about what it would take for the Scottish champions to let the Frenchman leave their club.
The same outlet reported earlier in the window that Celtic would be looking for offers in the region of £12m to allow Ntcham to leave, but it remains to be seen if that is still the case.
A less than impressive start to their top-flight return has lead Baggies boss Slaven Bilic to continue looking for quality recruits as the transfer window edges towards closing.
Ntcham, a France Under 21 international, has top-level pedigree having played for Genoa in Serie A whilst on loan from Machester City.
The energetic midfielder has made over 100 Celtic appearances, including nine this season as The Hoops go in search of a tenth consecutive Scottish title.
Should other clubs be shying away from the reported asking price, this could be the perfect opportunity for Albion to swoop as Ntcham would certainly improve the current squad at the Hawthorns.
