Kamil Grosicki hasn’t had a lot to smile about this season as he’s been short of playing time at West Bromwich Albion, but he’s still keeping his followers updated on his whereabouts and trying to stay optimistic.
The 32-year-old recently posted a picture on Instagram of him sitting in his garden on a rainy day, captioned: “Even on a rainy day, you can get in a positive mood 💪💧 start with water and water.”
Grosicki has made only five appearances in all competitions this season, notching two assists. He’s spent most of the campaign on the periphery as Slaven Bilic and successor Sam Allardyce have preferred Callum Robinson, Matt Phillips, Matheus Pereira, Robert Snodgrass and Grady Diangana.
The Polish international represented his country in three World Cup qualifiers last month, but he’s been on the periphery at club level which can’t be easy to handle. Grosicki is putting on a brave face, however, and is still posting on Instagram despite him Albion career being all but over.
His last first-team outing came in January and he turned out for the U23s in March, but Grosicki has to see the season out at the Hawthorns because he couldn’t broker a move away.
