Mbaye Diagne got on the scoresheet in West Bromwich Albion’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa and was in good spirits on social media. He’s been a fantastic acquisition for the Baggies and connects with fans by sharing elements of his life outside of football.
The 29-year-old posted a picture on his Instagram stories of him in a silver watch, silver necklace with medallion, silver bracelet and black beanie hat. Diagne also went to a London shopping mall and shared images of his visit to followers.
Diagne has made 12 Premier League appearances since joining West Brom on loan until the end of the season, scoring two goals with two assists. The Senegalese international has made an instant impact since arriving from Galatasaray, but his efforts haven’t been enough to lead Albion out of the bottom three.
Sam Allardyce’s men sit 19th in the league with 25 points from 33 games, nine points adrift of safety with only 15 points available. They’ve picked up two wins and a draw from their last four games but have only averaged 0.89 points per game since Allardyce replaced Slaven Bilic.
