The Venetian label describe themselves as minimal, quality and Italian-crafted footwear that ship worldwide. They’ve been endorsed by former Arsenal and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil, so the brand name is clearly growing.
Gibbs got himself a pair of white creps and tagged the company in the post while he was in 39 Steps Coffee, Knightsbridge. The 31-year-old hadn’t put up an Instagram post for four weeks before that, which was to announce his departure from West Bromwich Albion after four years.
Gibbs joined the Baggies from Arsenal in 2017 and went on to make 100 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals with nine assists. He was out of contract at the Hawthorns this summer and wasn’t extending his stay. Gibbs will instead spend next season at Inter Miami, playing under Phil Neville at the Miami Freedom Park.
