Sam Johnstone is being talked about in a lot of circles after impressing for West Bromwich Albion last season while being rewarded with a place in England’s 26-man squad for the 2020 European Championships, but he’s focused on his family if his Instagram story is anything to go by.

The 28-year-old posted a picture with his young son who often watches his games at West Brom. Johnstone’s future at the Hawthorns is up in the air amid interest from West Ham United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but the Baggies are yet to receive an acceptable offer.

The England international has made 131 appearances in all competitions since joining Albion from Manchester United in 2018, but he may have played his final game. Johnstone has proven he’s Premier League quality, so it’s hard to see him staying to be in the Championship this season.

And with the talented shot-stopper’s contract being up in 2022, West Brom have little choice but to cash in early rather than risk losing him for nothing next year. Until then, he’ll enjoy the summer with his family before returning for pre-season training.
