Callum Robinson has a lot to prove this season after an inconsistent debut season at West Bromwich Albion, but he’s ready for the challenge if his latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

The 26-year-old posted a snap of himself in the new kit with the caption ‘the new season awaits’ which was received very positively. Robinson joined West Brom on loan in January 2020 and turned the move permanent from Sheffield United the following summer.

He agreed a five-year deal last September and has gone on to make a total of 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals with two assists. Robinson netted five times in 28 Premier League games last season and was frequently hauled off in matches he started due to making little impression.

West Brom will be playing their football in the second tier this campaign, so that needs to change. Robinson should have an easier time in the Championship and seems ready to get going, so fans will hope he can justify the five-year deal.
