West Bromwich Albion enjoyed a 4-0 win over Birmingham City in their final pre-season friendly and Callum Robinson was one of many who enjoyed the derby victory.

The 26-year-old didn’t get on the scoresheet himself, but he played 75 minutes at St Andrews and impressed, linking up well with Karlan Grant while winning a penalty that was dispatched by the latter.

Robinson posted pictures on his Instagram story of the day’s events and looks fired up for the new season.

Robinson joined West Brom from Sheffield United last summer and has gone on to make 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals with two assists. He didn’t have the most convincing debut campaign at the Hawthorns but should fare better against Championship opposition.

West Brom have enjoyed a near flawless pre-season. The Baggies are unbeaten in all five games, boasting three wins and clean sheets in every outing. They’re going into the 2021/22 in the best shape and Robinson looks in good condition already.

If Robinson can supply the bullets to Grant this season like he did against Birmingham, Albion’s promotion bid will be strong.
