Kamil Grosicki finally made his second debut for Pogon Szczecin with a 21-minute appearance against Lech Poznan and marked the occasion with a post on social media.
The 33-year-old has since put up another picture on his Instagram story of himself on the ball against Lech Poznan and then posted a video of himself in the hot tub.
Grosicki is back where it all started at the Stadion Miejski im. Floriana Krygiera. He was born in Szczecin, Poland and rose through the youth ranks to Portowcy’s first-team, making 23 appearances in his first stint, scoring two goals with four assists.
Grosicki’s gone full circle and could be ending his career exactly where he began it. He’s signed a two-year deal in August that will take him up to the age of 35, so this may be the last contract he signs.
The Polish international has something to prove after a disappointing stint at West Bromwich Albion that caused him to lose his place in the national team, so he’ll be hoping to capture the form that led Albion to initially go in for him.
