Kamil Grosicki is all smiles being back in his hometown and playing for his childhood club. The 33-year-old is no stranger to posting on social media and put up a happy family snap on his Instagram story ahead of Monday’s Ekstraklasa clash with Radomiak Radom.
Grosicki had an uncertain future after being a free agent without a lot of offers to field this summer, so he’ll be relieved to be settled again. His latest post with wife Dominika and daughter Maja showed him to be content with life, so the twilight of his career is going positively now.
The Poland international had a forgettable 18 months at West Bromwich Albion but will now spent two years back at Pogon Szczecin. Grosicki has already made his second debut and should feature against Radomiak Radom after the weekend, so he has plenty to look forward to.
Ahead of the clash, Pogon are third in the Ekstraklasa with 11 points from six games, having picked up just one win from their previous three. A win on Monday could see them go top of the table if results go their way, so Grosicki has swapped a relegated club for a title-chasing one.
