Cedric Kipre played a full 90 minutes for West Bromwich Albion in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Millwall and marked his rare appearance with a post on his Instagram story. The 24-year-old published an action shot of himself during the game before adding a picture of his fresh trim while crediting the barber.

Kipre joined Albion from Wigan Athletic in 2020 and made only three appearances in his debut season. He’s already made three appearances in all competitions this season, however, so he should greatly surpass that tally – he’s already played in or made the squad in five of West Brom’s six Championship games.

The French born Ivorian-registered centre-back had his trim done from Kabandacoupe – a professional barber who gives advice to beginners on his social media account. Koupe, who’s also given Matheus Pereira a trim, posted the pictures of Kipre on his Instagram story.

West Brom host welcome Derby County to the Hawthorns on Tuesday evening and Kipre will hope to keep his place at centre-back. Dara O’Shea is sidelined with injury for a number of months, so the 24-year-old has a chance of keeping his spot.
