Kamil Grosicki has made his third appearance for Pogon Szczecin since returning to the Stadion Miejski im. Floriana Krygiera and shared a fantastic picture from Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Cracovia.

The 33-year-old came off the bench with 30 minutes remaining at home while Pogon were leading, but he didn’t bag his first win as a Rafal Kurzawa own goal saw Cracovia level the game in the 78th minute.

Grosicki’s picture on Instagram was taken while he was whipping in a corner, and in the background you see fans with flares making the snap look iconic. Grosicki clearly loved it enough to post on social media, but he’d probably have enjoyed getting a win.

Pogon are currently third in the Ekstraklasa with 13 points from eight games this season. They’ve drawn their last three outings and travel to the Estadio Henryk Reyman to face Wisla Krakow on Sunday, September 26.

The Polish international will hope he can get Pogon back to winning ways in their next league game, so they don’t lose any ground in the title race. It would mean a lot to win silverware with his boyhood club and at his birthplace.
