Callum Robinson enjoyed a very successful international break with Ireland and posted multiple pictures on his Instagram story to mark the occasion.
The 26-year-old played a full 90 minutes in both Ireland’s World Cup qualifiers against Portugal and Luxembourg, helping the national team pick up four points.
Robinson also got himself on the scoresheet, so it’s no surprise he couldn’t resist sharing his joy with followers. He’s been in fantastic form for his country, so West Bromwich Albion would love it if he’d replicate that on Saturday.
The 26-year-old has made 16 Championship appearances this season, scoring three goals with five assists. He’s without a goal since August, however, so Robinson is long overdue.
For Ireland, however, Robinson has scored six goals in his last four internationals, so he knows where the back of the net is. Valerien Ismael has kept the faith despite his poor club form, but West Brom need him to start firing soon.
The Baggies have won just one of their last three league games and find themselves third in the Championship, six points adrift of the automatic promotion places. They face Huddersfield Town on Saturday but have lost their last three away games, so it won’t be easy.
