West Bromwich Albion dropped to fourth in the Championship after extending their winless run to four games over the weekend. The Baggies were held to their second consecutive goalless draw and have now been overtaken by Queens Park Rangers in the table.

West Brom are fourth with 34 points from 20 games, having drawn three and lost one of their last four games, but the Midlands outfit have picked up just two wins in their previous eight outings so Valerien Ismael’s position is coming under fire from supporters on social media.

Albion are struggling for goals of late too. They’ve failed to score in their last three matches and have only rippled the back of the net twice in six games. Ismael joined the club in July and has presided over 21 games, winning nine, drawing seven and losing five.

With West Brom being eight points adrift of the automatic promotion places, Ismael could find himself out of a job unless he can narrow the gap. Albion are nearly halfway through the season and are in poor form of late, so he’s making up the board’s mind.
